There are a lot of these "city-abandoned-by-human-life" themed images floating around out there, so this is my first take on the subject. It takes on a bit of a stylized look because of the overly cool shadows and warm highlights.
The healthy plate I used was from EquestrianStock here on DA: [link]
I'm putting together a slideshow for a couple of quotes i like about nature taking its territory back from civilization. I'd love to use this in it. Let me know.
You're right, and the truth is there are a lot of nice details that are smashed out of existence when I resize down to 800px wide. I've debated larger files, but truthfully I get paranoid about art thieves, I've had it happen before. Maybe one day I'll create some sort of "details" gallery in the future, or just get over my paranoia lol
haha, I see. Its point of view, but it would be pretty bad to become a victim, for sure. But you could add some full on the sides of your preview or something like that. To see exactly where the detail is, you know. Because once you would start detail gallery I think it would be so easy to connect choosen detail with final result.. or maybe to do it like that and add link of detail (in another gallery) into description of your final result-preview
